Honor Diaries is proud to celebrate Human Rights Day – December 10th, the day the United Nations General Assembly adopted The Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.
The values and freedoms spelled out in this enlightened document, while seen as “basic” human rights, have yet to be achieved for an unacceptably large swath of society worldwide. Freedom, equality, dignity, liberty, security, and even the right to life remain elusive for millions of women and girls.
We carry the torch of the visionaries of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We commit to upholding and advancing these principles, bringing women and girls from around the world under the mantle of justice and rights for all.
